I haven't written in my journal for a few months or so...so yeah....xD Even though no one reads these but me.

Over the summer I did get alot of art time in. It was unfortunatly, mainly spent on dog art. The last week or so though though I have spent a lot of time on human anatomy so, I think I'm improving. Right now my main focus has been getting the under-skeleton(stick figure + bubbles) right. My hips still look a little off, legs and arms are looking good and I'm getting more confident and able to shape them to do new positions. Even my hands are getting better. So far so good! As for the details...well those are still a bit shoddy but, I think once I have the underly core correct to my own taste and standards the rest will come with practice and time. It's not like I can't draw faces...I just haven't found what I want...clothes...needs lots of work. So whatever. Just trying to find my own style that I'm happy with. It's tough when I admire so many different artists!

As for college....the title.

It's keeping me busy but, I always end up doodling in most of my classes. I'm studying hard though so that I can hopefully get some scholarships since I took out way to much loan money this year. My major is Japanese but, I'm hoping to add creative writing or professional writing to it. I suck at writing though, if you couldn't tell by reading this. My skills definatly need a lot of work but, hey that's why I'm going to school right?

I love writing fiction so...we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll end up doing three majors, which means probably no Japan exchange junior year and possibly an extra semester here....so maybe not. We'll see.

Either way eventually I'll post something new. my digital camera got stolen at prom and I don't have access to a scanner yet. Once I get a job I'll get a new camera or scanner. That or christmas time. So there will be updates. Hopefully by then I can draw better!

If you can also give me tips or tutorials on lining and materials that'd be great to. So far just draw with a .7 or .5 lead or a pen.
